During my recent stay at a charming guesthouse in Cagliari, I found a good blend of traditional warmth and modern convenience. Nestled just steps from the beach, the direct access allowed for serene morning swims, while the view from my room offered a pleasant backdrop to my stay. The hosts, Elena and her husband, were welcoming and provided a hearty breakfast featuring local fruits and pastries enjoyed in the garden with a sea view-an aspect I particularly appreciated as a marine biologist. Another highlight was the nearby natural reserve, where I had the opportunity to observe flamingos in their habitat. The experience was a pleasant balance of comfort and connection to the local ecosystem.
